Chiropractic Care for Leg Pain

Our chiropractor will take your medical history, perform a physical exam, and possibly take X-rays to determine the cause of your leg pain. Once the cause of the pain is determined, we will suggest a combination of therapies to treat the condition. There are different types of chiropractic care that our doctor is trained in.

Manual therapy applies hands on chiropractic therapy to the muscles, back, legs, tissues, joints, shin, ankles and feet to reduce pain, increase motion, and increase blood flow. It involves massaging, kneading and stretching muscles and soft tissue. Often the therapy is followed by moist heat packs or ice packs to reduce pain and inflammation. Drop table is a technique that involves using a special table that moves up and down and can be used to treat leg pain while improving the patient’s range of motion.

Corrective exercises are often used to help with leg pain. We will design an exercise plan for the patient to do at their home or office that best fits their needs. Our chiropractor may suggest walking, biking, swimming, or yard work as other ways to exercise. Massage therapy is often used to treat leg pain by relieving stress in the muscles making it easier for mobility.

Nutritional counseling can help improve health and reduce leg cramps by keeping to a special diet and taking supplements. With nutritional counseling, we will design an exercise program that will help heal your leg pain. We can treat injuries from work, auto accidents, sports, or any situation the patient experiences.

Testimonials

Reviews By Our Satisfied Patients

  • "Was traveling through from Texas and these wonderful people worked me in to their schedule. I have been to many chiropractors and can tell you the good Dr. knew what he was doing here! He adjusted me at a price that was only a percentage of what I would have been willing to pay for relief and I left with my neck turning again. The locals are lucky to have y'all!!!
    Thanks"
