New patients begin in a manner familiar to anyone who has ever gone to a medical clinic before. We will ask you to fill out some information on your current state of health, family medical history, previous illnesses, and so on. We know nobody loves paperwork, but this data is highly important as it will help our chiropractor, Dr. Duca, in his efforts to diagnose any symptoms you may be experiencing. This beginning is reinforced by the next step, your meeting with Dr. Duca in which you and he will discuss your condition in detail.

Next Dr. Duca will perform a careful evaluation of your spinal alignment, posture, reflexes, and balance; this allows him to see how correctly your body's biomechanics and nervous system are working. Abnormalities or imbalances may indicate a spinal misalignment. He may also take x-rays of your spine to see if these issues are visible, and if they are, he will point them out to you so you can see for yourself. Once all the data is in, Dr. Duca can provide you with a formal diagnosis and recommend chiropractic care or other treatment methods.
